EFM Software plays significant part in Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 'launch'

sql2005.pngOn November 7, Microsoft launched the new version of SQL Server  in The Netherlands. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 provides the perfect architecture for Business Intelligence (BI). EFM's Bizzscore gratefully deploys these BI-capabilities. 200 Microsoft-partners were invited to a special session on BI and SQL Server 2005. Arjen Oude-Kotte, Manager Business Group Server & Tools at Microsoft, explained how the different Microsoft tools provide an archicture for BI. To illustrate the top layer, he mentioned EFM Software's Bizzscore.

In the evening 1350 spectators watched a sparkling talkshow of Fons de Poel. During this show, a short movie was showed. The movie was recorded at EFM Software in Rotterdam and at the dutch Red Cross in the Hague. Mark Hofstra CEO of the dutch Red Cross explains how insight in performance and contributions were improved by the implementation of EFM Software's Bizzscore. He also praised EFM Software for the short implementation time needed to disclose hundreds of departments: only three months.

Alwin Peppelenbosch CEO of EFM Software was interviewed "live on stage" byfamous Dutch TV personality Fons de Poel. Peppelenbosch stated the widely approved essence of Business Intelligence: financial and operational monitoring  through intelligent connection of datasources. Afterwards Steve Ballmer launched the SQL Server and there was a sparkling party. It was a succesful event, both for Microsoft and for EFM Software.
