 By 1 January 2014 the current Dutch payment products are replaced by SEPA. SEPA is the abbreviation of "Single Euro Payments Area." SEPA makes it possible in the near future to make payments with the same ease to accounts in your own country as well as accounts in other countries. There will be credit transfers, direct debits and payment cards for domestic and cross border payments that can be used in that whole area.
